Dr Sanjay Parashar has no clinic in Mumbai. Patients from Mumbai have rhinoplasty with him in Delhi NCR (Phoenix Hospital or SCI Hospital) or in Dubai (Dubai London Hospital, Jumeirah). Most start with an online opinion from WhatsApp photos, travel for consultation and surgery, stay 7–10 days until the splint is removed, then continue follow-up by video from Mumbai. In Delhi NCR, primary rhinoplasty starts from ₹8 lakh plus 5% GST.
Why patients travel from Mumbai
Rhinoplasty is one of the most demanding operations in facial surgery, and the result depends heavily on the surgeon's experience with noses like yours. Dr Sanjay Parashar has performed more than 3,000 rhinoplasties, many of them on Indian noses with thick skin and soft tip cartilage. For an operation you will live with for life, a short flight is a small part of the decision.
There are good surgeons in Mumbai too. Whoever you choose, judge them on rhinoplasty experience, results in noses similar to yours, and who will actually operate, rather than on distance alone.
The noses Dr Sanjay sees from Mumbai
Mumbai is one of India's most mixed cities, with families from every region, so there is no single "Mumbai nose". Many patients from Maharashtra and western India have a broad, flatter nose with thick skin, which usually needs support and refinement rather than reduction alone. Others have the long, high-bridged pattern more common in the north.
These patterns are only a starting point. Every nose is examined individually for skin thickness, cartilage strength and breathing. Read more in Rhinoplasty for Indian noses: how regional anatomy shapes the surgical plan.
Delhi NCR or Dubai?

The planning and surgical technique are the same in both cities. Choose the city where you can comfortably stay for 7–10 days with a companion, and where you are most likely to return for an in-person review. Visa rules change, so check current UAE requirements before booking.
How to plan your surgery from Mumbai
- Send three photos on WhatsApp. Front, left side and right side, in good daylight and without make-up. You receive an initial opinion on whether surgery can help and which city suits you.
- Have an online consultation. A video call lets you discuss your goals, breathing and concerns before you travel. The final plan and written quote are confirmed only after Dr Sanjay examines your nose in person.
- Book your travel and stay. Plan to be in Delhi NCR or Dubai for 7–10 days, and bring a companion for at least the first day after surgery.
- Complete pre-operative tests. You will be told which blood tests and scans are needed; some can be done in Mumbai before you travel.
- Surgery and the first week. The operation is under general anaesthesia. The splint is removed at about one week, at your first review.
- Fly home. Most patients return to Mumbai once the splint is off and the first check is complete, usually 7–10 days after surgery.
Follow-up after you return to Mumbai
Swelling settles gradually: bruising fades in about two weeks, but tip swelling in thick-skinned noses can take 12–18 months to resolve fully. Reviews continue by video call with photographs at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months after surgery, and in person whenever you are next in Delhi NCR or Dubai. See the full recovery timeline.
If you have bleeding that does not stop with gentle pressure after 15 minutes, fever, increasing pain, or sudden swelling on one side, call the clinic straight away and seek urgent local care in Mumbai.
Cost for patients from Mumbai
The surgical fee is the same as for local patients in the city you choose. In Delhi NCR, primary rhinoplasty starts from ₹8 lakh, revision from ₹12 lakh, septorhinoplasty from ₹15 lakh and tip rhinoplasty from ₹7 lakh, each plus 5% GST. See rhinoplasty cost in Delhi or rhinoplasty cost in Dubai for what is included.
Budget separately for flights, 7–10 nights of accommodation, a companion's travel, and a UAE visa if you choose Dubai.
